Chanel + Art = ???

Sunday was the last day for the Chanel Exhibit in Central Park. The show 'Mobile Art' is on a tour around the world, New York was stop #3. I woke up before dawn and booked it to the ticket box in the park. After a brisk 1.5 hour wait, I was able to get tickets for the show. It is an audio guided walking tour, which meant that each person is given a set of headphones and MP3 player when entering the exhibit. A woman who sounded like she had smoked a few too many ciggys back in the day guided you on the tour and told you exactly when to walk and where to go. The exhibit space was designed by Zaha Hadid, and it was beautiful. I enjoyed the architecture more that the artwork. On a scale of 1 to Chanel.. I would rate my experience as a 2.55 - (for those not familiar with Chanel ranking system... thats a darn good rating).

THE POPE PARADE

Today I ran into the Pope. This morning I went for a run in Central Park and when I turned the corner - I ran into the Pope Parade! He drove by in his little Popemobile and waved... so I waved back.
